Andoria Dystopia


I like to think of the characters in Evidence of a Lost City as people. I talk to them politely. I encourage them in their ambitions. Now and then I take them out into the Lost Cities. I carry camera and lights, they carry makeup and costumes. It is a matter of exploration, I tell them. We explore who you are by capturing your image against these pillars, these blank walls, these streets. Let me see who you are, I say. Show me who you are.
And then, of course, there are the cities themselves. It is intriguing to prowl through them, camera in hand. I discover strange alleyways, creatures brooding in the shadows. Each of the Lost Cities has its own character, and it is part of my creative process to discover this character. Thus my own nocturnal explorations, my own adventures, which themselves become a part of this novel and movie. I too am a character....
